Cal Fire
San Luis Obispo County
San Luis Obispo County in California has multiple fire departments and fire protection districts serving its various cities and communities. As of my last update in January 2022, here are some of the fire departments and districts in San Luis Obispo County:
- San Luis Obispo City Fire Department
- Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services
- Atascadero Fire & Emergency Services
- Morro Bay Fire Department
- Pismo Beach Fire Department
- Arroyo Grande Fire Department
- Grover Beach Fire Department
- CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo County Fire Department (This serves many unincorporated areas of the county, as well as some communities under contract.)
- Templeton Fire and Emergency Services
- Avila Beach Community Services District Fire Department
- Oceano Community Services District Fire Department
- Cambria Community Services District Fire Department
- San Miguel Community Services District Fire Department
There are also various volunteer fire departments and stations serving smaller communities and rural areas within the county.
